About Your Instructor
Hi, I’m Carla, a retired Air Force colonel, speaker, and author of the multiple award-winning book “Write to Influence!” My battle cry … “Powerful writing changes lives!” Why? Because it does!
I once transformed the most losing unit in statewide, professional awards into the one to beat. Problem: Supervisors couldn’t compose winning nominations. Deserving troops lost to the competition, whose packages were well written. Solution: I developed my methodology and taught my troops to write. So popular was this one-hour workshop, I instructed thousands of people for the next 15 years.
Throughout my career, I’ve penned items sent to Congress, the White House, ambassadors, and generals … budget justifications, memoranda, personnel reviews, reports, etc., that prompted desired results. My secret? Make each word and every second of the reader’s time play to your advantage.
